Virginia is known for its battlefields, and in 2003 when it first opened, Beacon Hill’s challenging Johnny Miller course was definitely one of them. Nestled among the hills of this bucolic community just west of Leesburg, Virginia, Beacon Hill’s 27 holes weaved their way through the scenic landscape. Its beauty could be deceptive, though, as it challenged even the best players. Now we’ve cherrypicked 18 of the original holes and are in the midst of a dramatic renovation that will make Beacon Hill a golf course for all, from the families that live here to the best players in the world.
